Media Education Centre participates in the International Patriotic Pact. In conjunction with the 79th anniversary of the UN’s founding, the International Patriotic Pact Organization will host a UN Forum. The event will focus on the theme ‘INTERNATIONAL PATRIOTIC CONCEPT: Exploring New Paths for Sustainable Development & Global Governance.’ This forum advocates for the principle that we should ‘love our own country, but not sacrifice the interests of other countries.’
In the context of globalization, the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association presented the international patriotic concept of “love our own country, cannot sacrifice the interests of other countries” during the United Nations meeting, emphasizing that national development should respect the sovereignty and interests of other countries to achieve mutual benefit. This concept has received widespread recognition from the international community, with over 120 non-governmental organizations from 40 countries signing in support. On June 20, 2024, the “2024 International Patriotic Pact Organization Forum” was successfully held at the United Nations Office in Geneva, attracting support and participation from 198 initiators representing 39 countries across five continents.
