We, at the Media Education Centre, Danube Peace Boat and our Network believe that empowerment for women and girls are vital to the development of societies. Women and girls that are empowered to basic education are better equipped to fulfil their potential and contribute their best effort to the societies. They are essential for a sustainable development and constructive progress of all of their family members, the household, communities and their nation as a whole. By achieving gender equality, sustainable development will be inclusive leading to a balance in every aspect at all levels of the societies.
So, let us this year step it up together in both promoting and espousing the practice of gender equality in every of our daily activity.
