Today we left Belgrade in direction of Vojvodina, more precisely Be?ej and then to the small village of Radi?evi?. We arrive in the afternoon to Be?ej, and our friend Igor Bra? was there to pick us up. We went directly to the Gramar school “Zdravko Gložanski” and the teacher Suzana ?uki? present us to the Principal Dušan Zahar and as good Serbian hospitality demands they offer us coffee and tea.
After that we went to the Press Conference wich involved the children of the School. We were the ones that were about to be interviewed. We prepared the cameras and the microphones for the interviews and there we go.
All eyes were on us. It’s not that that I am nervous about talking in public, I was just nervous if they really wanted to talk with us. But after two or three “shy questions”, they open-up, and start a normal conversation with us in English. I felt very welcoming. They asked us about our EVS, our life in Serbia, about MEC, our favorite Serbian dishes, favorite football clubs, our studies, etc. In the end they also asked us to speak our own languages and languages that we know. I was speaking Portuguese, and then a little bit Spanish (because they really wanted too!).
After wrapping up the Press Conference, we went to a nice restaurant with an amazing view, the name of the restaurant says everything “Panorama”. The food was great, but the pala?inke was even better ( pala?inke sa eurokremom, hummmmm).
Back to work, Igor and Suzana took us to the school in Radicevic, and the art/ dance teacher and the children of the School present us with a amazing performance of Serbian Folclore.
The young kids perform, and after that the oldest one’s arrived and danced also for us. We captured all the video material to use latter for the 30 min. episode which is going to be broadcasted on Serbian national broadcasting corporation. . And in the end the teacher invite us to dance with them. I was expecting a “catastrophe” but they were really patient and in the end we had a lot of fun and enjoyed every second of it! Amazing day in Be?ej and Radi?evi?. Now we are back to the “Vila” and we should online levaquin buy rest tomorrow expect us a long day! Laku no?!

Hoje deixámos Belgrado em direcção a Vojvodina, mais precisamente Becej e depois disso para a pequena vila de Radicevic. Chegámos durante a tarde a Becej, e o Igor estava lá para nos apanhar. Fomos directamente para a Escola e a professora Suzana apresentou-nos o Director, e como bons hospitaleiros que são ofereceram-nos de imediato café e chá.
Depois fomos diretos para a Conferência de Imprensa com as crianças da Escola. Fomos para ser entrevistados. Preparámos as câmaras e os microfones para a entrevista e lá fomos nós.
Os olhos estavam postos em nós! Não é que eu fique nervosa por falar em público, mas estava nervosa pelas crianças, não sabia se elas queriam realmente falar connosco. Mas depois de duas e três questões mais “acanhadas”, eles começaram a falar e começaram uma conversa normal connosco como se já nos conhecessemos. Senti-me bem recebida. Perguntaram-nos acerca do nosso SVE, da nossa vida na Sérvia, acerca dos nossos pratos gastronómicos preferidos, os clubes de futebol sérvio que apoiamos ou não, o que estudámos, etc. No fim também nos pediram para falarmos nas nossas linguas maternas e em idiomas que soubessemos. Eu falei português e um bocadinho de Espanhol ( mas apenas porque eles realmente queriam!)
Depois de finalizarmos a Conferência de Imprensa, fomos para um restaurant cinco estrelas com uma vista fantástica, em que o nome assenta que nem uma luva “Panorama”. A comida estava excelente, mas o melhor foram os crepes com chocolate no film ( hummmm).
De volta ao trabalho, o Igor e a Suzana, levaram-nos para a escola em Radicevic, onde o professor de danças e artes e as crianças apresentaram um espectáculo de folklore sérvio só para nós. Gravámos o material todo para usarmos mais tarde no episodio do Belgrado Calling. E no fim, o professor convidou-nos para aprendermos uns passinhos de dança e dançarmos com as crianças. Estava à espera de uma catástrofe, mas eles foram bastante pacientes e no fim acabámos por nos desenrascar, e divertirmo-nos.
Foi um dia em cheio em Becej e Radicevic.
Neste momento tamos de volta à “Vila” onde vamos dormir, porque amanhã espera-nos um longo dia. Boa noite!
